Jet2 hand luggage allowance

Jet2.com includes one 10 kg cabin bag up to 56 × 45 × 25 cm (including wheels and handles) for every passenger, plus one small under-seat bag up to 40 × 30 × 20 cm. You don’t need to add either to your booking.

The two bags have different rules on weight: the cabin bag has a firm 10 kg limit, while Jet2.com doesn’t state a weight limit for this bag as a number. Pack the heavy things in the cabin bag and keep the under-seat bag for what you need during the flight.

Flying back with a different airline?

Jet2’s cabin bag is one of the larger allowances, and it’s included as standard. If you fly out with Jet2 and back with another airline, a bag at Jet2’s maximum size of 56 × 45 × 25 cm won’t always qualify:

Measuring a bag for Jet2

For the cabin bag, wheels and handles are part of the 56 × 45 × 25 cm — measure the whole case, handle down.
For the under-seat bag, Jet2’s page doesn’t say whether wheels or handles count. A soft bag avoids the question.
Weigh the cabin bag at home once it’s packed. A luggage scale on Amazon UK (opens in a new tab) (paid link) or a bathroom scale (weigh yourself with and without it) is enough.
